I've loved Lisa for a long time, and she's one of those (oh, she's one of those, is she...) that I pay attention to when she writes an article.
And I'm all about writing from your soul, letting the authentic self out in words, yadda yadda.
So, of course, when an article has a title like "Seven Actions for Becoming More Like Yourself in 2012," I'm going to pay attention. :)
Of the seven actions, I was particularly drawn to the first, Create 5 Daily Practices: one for self-nourishment, one business or career-enhancing strategy, one thing I want to learn, one behavior I want to replace with a better one, and one core value I'll be mindful of daily to underpin my agreements in 2012.
Here is my list:
Self-nourishment: 15 minutes of writing on fiction or nonfiction books
Business or career-enhancing strategy: 15 minutes a day on LinkedIn or Google+
1 thing I want to learn: Webinars
1 behavior I want to replace: not that I think I'm perfect (really!), but I don't know about this. It's not that I think I can't improve. It's just that if I observe an action or behavior I think needs to change or be replaced, I do it and/or work on it. I'll get back to you if I think of anything.
1 core value I'll be mindful: this one was easy.... connection.
And... in order for these to be successful, they need to be quick activities, in the case of the first three, and consciousness of hte last two.
What are your 5 daily practices?

Hey you, that was very kind of you to repost your high five practices!
I love that you connect self-nourishment to writing! OF COURSE YOU DO!!!
Your site, your biz looks fabulous. Have a great 2012 my friend.
