Funny enough, I think just having these 31 days of self-care is self-care in and of itself for me. Sounds stupid, I know, but that's how it seems to be working.
I find myself thinking all throughout the day, "What action of self-care am I taking?" "What will I write about for 31 Days of Self-care?" "What can I do to take care of myself?"
Most of the time, it feels like little stuff: stopping work at 2:20 for a break before I go get Small Child from school. Working out. Writing in my journal. Planning today so that I don't keep stressing over how much work I have to get done and how there's no time to do it.
What does today and self-care hold? No clue. :) One thing that is on the list is to watch the very first episode of True Blood (I got the entire first season on DVD for my birthday in October). So, at 5:00 p.m. eastern, that's where I should be - watching Sookie and vampires and shapeshifters.

I so agree with you Dawn! Just going through this process has forced me to think about doing something for myself each day (which is really new for me)!
