When it comes to metal, there’s no mistaking where one side ends and another begins. It’s smooth, clear-cut, and has a no-bones-about-it attitude.
As a writer, you’re going to have an easier time of it if you’re as clear as can be. On the same hand, your readers need to be absolutely clear about the journey you’re leading them on. Lack of clarity equals struggle.Think about where you need to be clearer in your writing. This is where an editor, writing support group, or writing coach come in handy. Your support tribe can tell you if you’re being clear. If you don’t already have a writing support tribe, where can you get one?
Flip Side: There may be times when you don’t want things to be so clear. You want a certain amount of ambiguity and haziness.
