I don't know that if it's I'm boring, or that I don't take things for granted. Whatever the reason, you will see repeated items on my thankful list.
- Chico's. It's really a great store. When I had shopped there a few weeks ago, I had picked up three shirts in one style (or what I thought was one style) - three different colors. (Isn't that what personal shoppers tell you to do? Find a style you love and then buy it in different colors?) Anyway, the purple shirt was actually a different style, and I didn't like the cut that much. I returned it to Chico's today with no problems. But I didn't walk out of there empty-handed. I have the most gorgeous, sparkly bracelet that appeals to my metal side (for my fashion feng shui experts).
- Rainy, chilly days that go perfectly with eggnog spiced latte from Starbucks.
- The fact that real eggnog is FINALLY in the grocery stores.
- Bloody Mary-flavored Terra chips and Peace brand vanilla almond cereal - both from Whole Foods.
- Mind melding with my clients
- Creating a presentation with Stacy. I love how we work together. :)
- Working on my short story - Big yays!!!!
- Naps
- It's a weekend!!!

Chico's didn't have my size -- they FedEx'ed it to me for Saturday delivery, at no cost!

I so love having a Chico's soul mate. It's so worth crossing the border for!!! (And I'm grateful mine is 25 minutes away - and grateful that it's not much closer!)

Here's the funniest thing - I just got a LinkedIn invitation from someone who got my card when I was shopping in Chico's a couple of weeks ago. I mentioned how I'd written an article about Wal-Mart, Chico's, and Nordstrom's. They were all excited that I was a writer and a writing coach, and a couple of the sales associates asked for my card. So, see!!!! Buying clothes at a beloved store can actually be GOOD for business. :)
