Stacy is my best friend, without any doubt. She's amazing, wonderful, talented, smart, funny, lovely, and I'm so lucky to have her in my life.
We've talked for years since we've been us about our intense relationship and how it's the first time we've really experienced a relationship like this.
With all that, I was still surprised when I read her post this weekend in which she publicly called me her BFF. No one has EVER called me her BFF, even in junior high and high school when that level of touchy-feely was all the rage.
Sniff. I've arrived.
In all seriousness, beyond being labeled as Stacy's BFF, what she wrote was pretty nice, too. I did an Internet radio show on Friday for the International Association of Solopreneurs, and evidently Stacy was listening.
Kinda glad I didn't know that at that beginning. I didn't quite warm up until 10-15 minutes into the show. Stacy says that I go, "You know?" a lot when I'm nervous. So, if you listen, ignore the "you knows" at the beginning, and just know that it gets better, especially when I start talking about traffic lights and people wielding tools.

I really enjoyed your interview Dawn. And you didn't sound nervous to me at all (even in the beginning).
In fact, I felt that you were carrying the interview!

And you did notice, didn't you, Doug, where I talked about you? :)
