I've described myself as anal retentive numerous times. In the spirit of blogging, I'd cheerfully link to all the posts where I've done just that, but that would be one long list.
It's not a pretty phrase, anal retentive, yet everyone knows what I mean when I use it. I've considered finding another phrase, but "organized" or even "super organized" doesn't seem to convey it.
Today, I might have found my new word, compliments of Daphne Gray-Grant, author of the incredible newsletter, Power Writing.
Her phrase? "Organizational zealot." Maybe it's not a synonym for her for anal retentive, but it works for me.
