I was at a networking event yesterday at The Greene Turtle. The restaurant was crowded (it being the first day of the NCAA basketball tournament and all), but the staff did a great job keeping the 60+ chamber members happy (along with rowdy basketball fans).
Cara, one of the many (it seemed) servers dedicated just to our event, asked me if I wanted a drink. "A glass of wine," I responded.
Off she went to get it.
Now, mind you, I wasn't at a table. I was in the back section of the restaurant mingling with other business owners, and I moved around. Over came Cara with my glass of wine.
An hour later or so, I told Cara that I needed to check out. Off she went again.
She came back with the check, and I glanced at it. "LADYINBLUE" was at the top of it. That's how she was able to find me with the glass of wine and then later with the bill.
(I was wearing a blue shirt, in case you hadn't guessed.)
All night I thought about that label, "Lady in Blue." It rolls off the tongue nicely. The "l" in "Lady" and the "bl" sounds combine nicely. As much of a fan as I am of purple, I could almost go with Lady In Blue.
