In the spirit of Tuesday's post about overuse of words, Lake Superior State University brings us 2008's List of Banished Words.
While I agree wholeheartedly with most of these, I have to say that I'm pretty partial to "It is what it is."

I must say that I am very tired of the words fabulous and awesome. I have a sister-in-law who has ruined the word fabulous for me, and it appears that everyone likes to use the word awesome. I am making a conscious effort avoid using these words!
