If You Love Me, You'll Read My Blog

Yesterday I went to lunch with Antonette and Vicky, my cherished buddies from AssistU.  Now, if you don't know Vicky and Antonette, close your eyes and imagine two kick-ass women whose intelligence is only outmatched by their wits.  Talk about spice of life!  These women add a lot of spice!

So, Vicky says to Antonette, "You never did teach me how to do that puzzle thing." 

"What puzzle thing?"

"That Sudoku or whatever it is."

"Oh, yes," Antonette says almost reverently.  Evidently, she has Sudoku puzzle books throughout her house and even on her Palm.  Sometimes, she has to put her Palm in another room so that it doesn't distract her.

Vicky looks at me and says, "That's one of her shadow activities."

Antonette looks clueless. "Shadow activities?"

Vicky sighs dramatically.  "Don't you read Dawn's blog?  She talks about shadow activities, and how they distract us from doing real work."  Antonette is relatively unimpressed, and the conversation turns to other things.

Later on, Antonette asks me how my eyes are doing.  I just shake my head, and Vicky pipes up and says, "Not very well.  Don't you read her blog?"  And I go into detail about my last visit with Dr. Guyton, still seeing double, and the exercises I have to do.  Vicky once again reminds Antonette that she could have kept up if she had read my blog post.

Finally, we're getting ready to go, and Antonette says, "Oh, how's it going with the big dog?"

I thought Vicky was going to choke.

Vicky says, "My God, woman!  Read her blog!"  I give Antonette the short account of the Bandit fiasco.

Obviously, Vicky cares about me and reads Write Well Me to keep up with my life. (I never thought about Write Well Me being a vehicle for my friends to keep current with me.  It's nice to know that it serves some purpose at least.)  Now, Antonette.... I'm not really sure how much she cares.  :-)

(Don't worry, Antonette.  Chris doesn't read my blog either unless I force him to.)

Wow, you didn't have paper nor recorder and yet you got the ENTIRE conversation! LOL!!!

Well, I came home and read all the Write Well *ME*! Blogs from the last one I read! I set up WriteWellME on my RSS feed. I will NEVER not read another WriteWellMe Blog!
