I came across the word "dork" today in a new blog I've found that I've absolutely fallen in love with, Christine Kane. (I love her writing style, her message, and her voice - it's writing to fall in love with).
Christine uses the word "dork" at the end of her post, and it made me smile. "Dork" conjures up sweet, gentle, making-fun-of-myself-yet-still-loving-myself-ness.
At least, that's how it makes me feel. As a matter of fact, I promptly used the word in an e-mail I wrote later that day - referencing myself, of course!
Yep, I'm a dork!
